|
Responsibilities:
The SAP Security Engineer supports business operations and strategies at agreed services levels. The position provides a wide range of services including SAP Security, SAP Basis, and leveraging outsourcing arrangements for customers and Global Information Systems (GIS). The Engineer is responsible for adhering to policies and practices and folowing best practices.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide SAP Security for the following modules within SAP: PP, MM, SD, QM, FI, CO, SR, GL, AM, AP, BW, HR, ECC, CRM, & XI.
- Knowledge of SAP Security tools, i.e., SU53, ST01, PFCG, SU01, SUIM, SU24, CUA, etc.
- Define, implement, and maintain SAP authorization/ security architectures.
- Knowledge of SAP's segregation of duties requirements and SOX 404 specifications.
- Ensure SLA'sare met or exceed with SAP Security Admin requests.
- Gather Requirements by working with the Functional Team and Business Process Owner. Interpret those requirements, and convert into documented technical specifications.
- Provide Basis and security technical expertise via personal technical knowledge or liaisan with third parties.
- Provide Basis and security problem resolution directly and via hosting partner or SAP support, while consistently following change control procedures.
- Knowledge of SAP's governance, risk & compliance tools (formerly versa compliance suite)
- Support SAP instance and client strategy
- Support SAP promote to production strategy
- Support SAP system use schedule
- Develop and maintain SAP security documentation
- Plan and implement SAP upgrade and support packages
- Perform SAP monitoring and support
- Perform onging SAP configuration
- Provide daily support via helpdesk ticketing system
- Coordinate SAP system performance/ capacity planning
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position requires the individual to be
on call when required. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/ or ability required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Information Management. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- A track record in organizing and motivating teams of specialist
- An adaptable and flexible approach to problem solving
- Experience with supporting enterprise systems
- Experience in managing and monitoring SLA's with customers and suppliers.
- A proven track record on working collaboratively with customers and colleagues.
